VITALIS
A medical simulation engine.
Physiology, investigation, and treatment.
One patient whose condition keeps developing.
One patient.
Every connection.
Taking a history, ordering a test, giving a drug. Each action belongs to the same encounter.
Vitalis brings disease processes, medication exposure, diagnostic findings, and bedside interaction into a shared patient state.

The clinical encounter.
The workflow follows the work of caring for a patient, from the first examination through treatment and review.
Assess
Take a history. Examine the patient. Review vital signs and form a working diagnosis.
Investigate
Order laboratory tests, ECGs, and imaging. Review results in the patient chart and acknowledge critical findings.
Intervene
Administer medication, start or titrate an infusion, and perform procedures. Actions enter the encounter timeline.
Reassess
Follow the patient state, revisit decisions, request consultations, and consider disposition.
After the dose.
A medication order is the beginning of a process. The engine tracks delivery over time and connects exposure with patient state.
- Administration
- Dose and route are recorded in the encounter.
- Exposure
- Route-dependent delivery and infusion handling unfold over simulation time.
- Patient state
- Medication effects, interactions, and hazard evaluation meet the patient's underlying condition.
- Review
- Treatment records and vital-sign history remain available for encounter review.
Implemented system architecture. Clinical response validation remains ahead.
In development.
The physician encounter is the current foundation. Bedside interactions are being developed alongside it; nursing is a planned playthrough.
| Area | Progress |
|---|---|
| Patient simulation | Disease drivers, coupled physiology, and patient-state progression are implemented foundations. |
| Medication | Foundations cover route exposure, infusions, interactions, and hazard evaluation. |
| Clinical workflow | Encounter systems cover history, examination, orders, results, consultation, and disposition. |
| Bedside interaction | Equipment and examination interactions are prototypes. Visual quality and clinical responses are still being developed. |
| Nursing | A dedicated nursing playthrough is planned. |
No public release date has been announced. Clinical validation and independent certification have not been established.
The anatomy viewer is a separate presentation, rather than a live view of the simulation runtime.

Connected care begins here.
Vitalis is our first platform. Our wider ambition is medical technology that supports people served by Medicare. The work begins here, with patient systems and the decisions made around them.
We welcome practitioner feedback on workflow, patient behavior, and the details that need closer review.
